I have a custom built enclosure that is about .7 of a cubic foot. My speaker is a Infinity kappa 10.1d dual coil 10", and I powering it with a Lanzar amp that is rated for 600w @ 2 ohms....

This just isnt enough.

Should I up the power, or get a better speaker, Go to an 8 inch?? Id like to keep the enclosure because its tucked in nice. Any ideas on improvements?

bogie418 this is way off-topic but ive been looking for the picture in your avatar. do you know where i can find the pic online? the pic in your avatar is a small version, obviously.. i tried finding a normal-sized one on google but couldn't.. dont know what to search i guess.. i had the picture years ago cuz a friend sent it to me and thought it was hilarious. i like sending it to girls that ask for my picture LOL

I pm'd that superdude to you noob. So you think the amp is ok jdawg? I was going thru my speaker manual and it says there should be some inserts to put in the back. but I think I chucked mine out by mistake. For my smaller enclosure it says i should have the large insert. The way I have it now is the worse. Does anybody have the large insert that I could buy? I wonder how much of a diff. it would make.
