Not as Loud as I expected....

So you actually forgot what this thread was about. If a 5 year old could get it, why did the thread starter make this thread. He obviously didn't get it and it was because of that diagram.
I must say I am glad you guys finally admit the diagram is not right. Not sure why it took so long. The diagram is still misleading, because in series, you are supposed to put negative on a postive terminal at some point and same with postive on a negative.
He didn't make this thread because he needed help with his wiring, it was suggested as a possible option to solve the problem of his system not being as loud as expected. And the diagram is not misleading, at least to anyone with enough intelligence to solve simple problems. (Which apparently puts you out of the running.)

Why me out of running, when you admit the diagram is not as the actual wiring on woofer looks. Also the fact that I didn't start the thread and the fact that his problem is clearly incorrect wiring, as he has the positives on one side of the woofer.

ok are u retarted?

its time to shut up bout this.

and u are out of the running because on teh first page u admit that u wired a woofer wrong because of the diagram.

ok the diagram is wrong for an rf sub but what does taht prove?

does the graph not show pos-pos and neg-neg and yes a 5 year old can put red with red and black with black.

now please jus leave the topic alone if not i sudgest u go to a video game forum mr. video games fo life, maybe u will be usefull there.

I see where you are coming from, but I am sure that he is competent enough to recognize the SYMBOLS (+) and (-) rather than just relying solely on the PHYSICAL LOCATION of the wiring terminals. If not, it is his own fault. But seriously, man, the diagram is not wrong. The polarity is correct, and that is honestly the only important thing he has to acknowledge from the diagram. Also, you can see he is running KICKER subs, so whether the RF diagram is accurate to RF subs is not relevant. (And yes I am aware that Kicker SoloBarics are arranged in the same pattern as RF subs, as I own some myself.)

The thing is only One speaker maker I believe lines up the positve on one side. So I prove a whole lot. Don't you guys remember that series requires physical connection to the opposite polarity terminal.

So with that in mind, a new person would look at that bad diagram and put the positve on top and bottom of same side. Why would RF think people would get confused if they drew it as it actually supposed to look like.

Nobody here can tell me more than 2 speaker lines, that actually have the 2 positves on one side.

honestly u guys, please just ignore below30. The more u reply to his comments the more hes gona reply back. hes oubviously not gona leave so just ignore him.

Back on topic. The thread starter, ive helped him out alot and he seems to have everything done right. Someone posted something about the sensitivity of the gain and i think that would be helpful to check that out. He has new RCa's so that cant be the problem. My other thought is just the Head unit...

ok do you want to know why the picture looks like it does. and yes i know because i designed it and drew it. ok flipone of the + and - around on one terminal now try to draw an easy to read 2 dimensional picture. if you did that you would have to cross wires somwhere and there are some idiots out there that would probably connect these 2 wires and not think twice. it's just easier to read when it's like that

applause applause. thank you thank you. now can we help this dude out instead of bashing each other about a stupid diagram.

Who f*cking cares. You proved your point, oh my, bow down. But, your point is hardly important, and the point WE are proving to you is far more important. Polarity is what is important, you realize this, as do we, now where is the complication? Give it up, and I will too, POLARITY is what is important, we can both agree on that, and that is the main point at hand.

YES! Short and sweet and to the POINT!

How do you prove a point, when you lie about drawing a diagram. Why does the site I provide, draw it the correct way. Why in hell would you want to draw the diagram wrong.

Thats like drawing a blue print to a house with certain lines in a wrong place, just so it looks nicer on the paper. The fact is, this guy has his sub wired wrong, plain and simple. Your all so against me (which is fun) that you hate to admit I'm right and all he has to do is cross his wires.

ok so the guy has it wired wrong or you think that. so what. the diagrams right even if it is drawn wrong shut up about it. and it's a whole lot easier to read just like i said above. i wouldn't look at the placement of the connectors i dunno bout other ppl tho

Have you been over to his house, and VERIFIED that his wires are not correct? Maybe he has the right idea, maybe he doesn't; Charles says that everything seems to check out, so it would appear he figured the diagram out just fine. Hell, maybe you are right, and because of this little technicallity it may be the case, but the drawing is not wrong. Plain and simple. Don't overcomplicate things.
