I found out about it this weekend. However, there is talk that Atlanta Motor Speedway IS going to still have something that weekend but it will be a more "toned" down version (i.e. No bikini contest, No hydraulics, No big entertainers). I'm sure they'll have some more info soon so people who were planning on going to the Nopi show will know...

HA HA. ..In that link he basically says because of a slow spring they are restructuring ......This is a bad sign. If they took a hit financially in the spring you would think they would be trying to get more events in the fall. Honestly Wonder if they are going to go out of business .. because they are justifying the canceling of these shows because of a slow spring...

Things are tough all over for car show's ... at least to what ive noticed. Im not just talking about car audio events - but show & shine events as well.

Out of the 10 or so actual show and shine events I attended this year, only one of them actually gave out REAL trophies - not those TOP 50 plaques that you get now. It seems the shows just cant afford to do events nice anymore. And with the ever increasing price of gas, that just gives car show participants even less of a reason to even go to shows at all. I know now, when im notified of a local or regional car show - the first thing I ask about is Top 100 or Top 50. I wont attend those anymore.
