i'm looking for 2 10" shallow mount subs to put behind the rear seats in my ford superduty.

do i wanna go with the fosgate P3SD410 or the IDQ10 D4v.2? Our do you guy recommend a diffrent brand of sub's? Also do i wanna go with 4 or 2 OHMS. Been out of the game for awhile.

i'll be using my "old school" pc2150.

I'd go with 2 IDQ10's get the Dual 4 ohm versions so u can wire it up to a 4 Ohm total load, since ur amp puts out most power at 4 ohms bridged.

wow been out of car audio for awhile! how thing have changed! i had 3 jlw6 back in the days (still in the garage) and it was loud as chit! now i can't figure out what the hell to buy.

The IDQ's should sound really good, probably wont have the same output as 3 W6's did, but should be more then enough. Specially since ur in a truck.

ok i'm sold on the idq's one more question . is it recommended to do the big 3 upgrade on me truck? or ami not pulling enough to require it? It has 2 batteries already, however the wire running to the alt looks pretty crappy.

use o awg wire for big 3

u should be fine, try it out. If u see major dimming when note's hit at night then do the big 3 afterwards. Seeing how it's a superduty it should have at least 4AWG wire, which should be fine.

somebody from another forum i belong to said i can't run duel batteries. is this correct? i have 2 batteries due to being a diesel.

they're wrong. It's not recommended to run batteries that aren't the same type. Say u have a yellow top, and than random outta the shelf walmart battery. But most people don't have problems with it anyways. just a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif alot of the competitors run 4+ batteries.

it'll be fine my dad has a chevy 2500 diesel with the two batts and a system just means you have a choice of which side you wanna run the power wire lol
