Noobish Bastard Here...

benchambers80...Quit posting worthless shit. He's here for help, read his original post.
Crutch, yes that kit would work for that amp aslong as the amp accepts 8ga power/ground wire. The KLM wire isn't the most flexible stuff in the world but I'd think in 8ga flexibility wouldn't be an issue.
Hey Fuckbag I don't know what he is asking so how can I help him, go take that cock out of your *** come back and try again.

not even talking about flexibility here, it's the fact that it's 10% copper and 90% aluminum

Cool, thanks:veryhapp:

so you already bought the products you listed or no?
Just the sub and amp so far....

walmart sells a spool of speaker wires, 14awg i believe, for 15bux. Good shit, believe it or not lol
Yea they do, they have double insulated moster wire for 19 bucks, its kinda thick because of the extra insulation, take that into account when buying. Its harder to work with.

Yeah, but isn't that why they oversize it so it has the same throughput for power as 8ga straight copper?
most of their wires are oversized anyway, and i'd prefer copper over aluminum. I'm sure it won't hurt to buy them, just an opinion is all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

not the monster, some shit called Royal Cable. I guess it's like Royal Cola lol. Jacket is not thick at all and pretty flexible shit. Try it, you'll like it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

as soon as you are able I'd replace those factory speakers (if they are still factory as you say...I'd be shocked if the prior owner bought an amp and didn't replace the factory speakers). The single best upgrade you can ever make to a car stereo is replacing the crap factory paper speakers.

That shouldn't be a problem, you arn't sending alot of power. 16 guage I would guess.
16 for the power and speaker wire?

Does Knu make the Eko you were talking about?

And fellas, let me see if I'm doin this right.....I'm taking the power wire from the amp to the battery, grounding amp on frame, remote wire back from HU to amp, and RCA's to/ofrom......___________this is the part where the noobish bastard part comes in:laugh:

No Minimum 8 gauge power wire, 16-18ga speaker wire.

Head unit should have rca outputs, amp has inputs. Depending on head unit you may have to use a low pass filter to stop the sub from playing upper frequencies.

they don't seem to make eko wires any more. The wires you want to go with is just fine, i just don't like them is all, but should work.

RCA goes to RCA out from headunit, then goes to RCA input on amp.
