noob question

Well this is kinda a questions I was wondering about too. I think he means where the RE is 0.7 for the D1. Would the RE be the actual coil reading or would it be 1ohm like what he ordered.

I was just going to wait until mine showed up then measure them but since someone else asked . . .

exactly whats the deal with that? they say 0.7 then d1, maybe they are just rounding it off to dual 1 and then they state the actual reading, 0.7?

guess you don't know what it means? wow, your a lot of help. thought forums were for help, welp, at least some guys are helpful! (not you)
He was helpful! by looking up one thing, you find the answer and more! i do the same thing though, id rather have people put it in simple terms

Look up what RE means.
Wikipedia States

Re - DC resistance of the voice coil, measured in ohms.

This was the most helpful description I found The 12 Volt

Re - "This is the DC resistance of the driver measured with an ohm meter and it is often referred to as the 'DCR'. This measurement will almost always be less than the driver's nominal impedance. Consumers sometimes get concerned the Re is less than the published impedance and fear that amplifiers will be overloaded. Due to the fact that the inductance of a speaker rises with a rise in frequency, it is unlikely that the amplifier will often see the DC resistance as its load."

So I would assume to just ignore the Re and use what the normal impedance would be as ordered, ie dual 1 ohm v/c. Right?

Does it make a difference how the subs are wired? Such as parallel the v/c then series the 2 subs to the amp or the other way where to series the v/c then parallel to the amp. I searched on it and found conflicting information, was just wondering what any one else thought.

I am asking thinking it would help both the OP and me lol
