Ok If I have 2 dual 4ohm subs wired to 1 ohm to my viper 1200.1 and then since the viper has another input for sub wires and in that channel i have a dual 2 wired to 1 ohm. Would this give me a 1 ohm or .5 ohm load? and would this be wise or unwise to do setting aside the fact at how low the ohm load is.

what are u asking its to sets of terminals or there is no way to wire one sub to 1ohm so what are u asking if there is two dual 4s its one ohm no less than that

maybe i get it now u have 2 sets of terminals one set u have two wired to 1ohm and u think if u hook up another dual 2 its going to drop it to .5 is that correct

The viper is one stable the 2 sets of terminals are only for esay hook up the amp is internaly briged its only one channel amp. If you have two subs that are dual 4ohms than wire there coils in pairrale and then wire the subs in pairralel to the amp that will give you a 1ohm load to the amp.

ok i c ur question u have 2 12's dual 4's but u want to add a dual 2 to the load and u want to know what the ohms would be that is the question right
