jbl amps

I have a Bpx1100.1 and 300.4. The 1100 gets a little power hungry, but they're both solid, sexy amps that have never let me down in the past year and a half. They do they're rated power and then some. I'm setting up a fiberglass amp rack in the tire well in a month or two.

eh...I have an upfront voltmeter (look at my gallery to see what I'm talkin about) and every hard bass hit I can see it dip .2V. I have 2 caps and I'm starting to agree that they dont do crap. Its nothing bad, just do your Big3 and call it a day.

I am running 2 bp1200.1's right now. They do **** a lot of current from your electrical system, but I run the 2 off a stock alternator, big 3 and a yellow top, and it is fine most of the time.

i have a bp600.1 and love it. will agree with everyone else that they **** a substantial amount of power, even with big 3 and red top.

my friend has a gto75.4 and its massive. puts out an *** ton of power compared to what its rated at. he is running his on completely stock electrical system and it will dim his lights.

I think (from a thread I posted a LONG time ago) that they **** the substantial amount of power b/c its a Class A/B amp compared to a class D...I have no idea if thats true or not so take it with a grain of salt.
