noob in need of wiring help!

so im about to order my new sound system, but i have no idea what cables/wires to buy. i have no prior experience of car audio up to this point. so any help would be greatly appreciated

im going to be running the following:

1800w 2chnl

If you're running over 1000 watts, you generally wanna get 0/1 awg wire. But I'm confused...why are you buying a 500w mono amp for 2 subs that RMS at 1000w each? And why are you getting an 1800w amp for 2 speakers that RMS at 80w each?

well actually im getting those amps for free so mind as well use them. would you think its a good idea to run those amps? any suggestions?

I'm sorry, I read the Power Acoustik one wrong. 1800w is the max wattage, otherwise, it's 300w rms for each channel, which would be fine for those speakers but I'm not sure on the quality of the amp, others could tell you more about that. As for the RF amp - that is certainly a keeper, but if you're going to use it, I'd go for some 250w rms 4-ohm Single Voice Coil subs and wire them up at a 2-ohm load, which is basically just plugging each + into the one + slot and each - to the - for the speakers on the amp. If you're going to go this route, I would go for the Memphis Audio 10" or 12" PRs.

I've got 2 of the 10" memphis subs and they are great, you will definitely enjoy them.
