Noob didn't quite get it in the 101

1000w amp mono supposedly is 700watts at 2 ohms / 500 w rms dual VC subs 2 ohm /

Wired like this to create a 2 ohm load. My noob question is ....Do both subs get the 700 watts? Please forgive me folks just looking for a straight answer.

You're going to wire at 2ohm or .5ohm

Match those SA's with a Sundown Amp. Don't get Hifonics unless you NEED to.

At .5 ohm how much distortion is there? Plus I wasn't trying to break the bank what's wrong with hifonics ?

There won't be any distortion if you tune it clean.

Hifonics has exaggerated ratings and they don't last very long.

SAE 1000 would be the amp I'd run with those subs.
