maybe they are talking about setting your subsonic filter if your box is tuned a certain level, or maybe you HPF or LPF. be more specific on what you wanna know

yes. the tuning part of the box makes sense for 35hz. . . its a calculation of the port size depeding on the size of the box.

to put the meaning short basically means what frequency your tuned box will put out the most output with the least distortion cuz all the output will come from the vent/port at that frequency, you TUNE to what frequency you want the most output and if you listen to rap alot 30-35 hz is a good range, hope this helps ya understand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

Tuning to a certain frequency is making a ported box and calculating the proper port size/length depending on the driver. You have to make a completely new box, or at least modify a port on a box/driver combo that you know the specs of, to choose a new tuning frequency.
