3. Description/Condition:

I sent the amp off to Sam A.K.A Sam, A.K.A. MakeShiftAudio, worst mistake I've ever done, to have what we thought was a simple repair. After a hard time getting anything from him I finally got the amp back. Problem is it came back worse than when I sent it to him!!!!! After calling FedEx I find out that he didn't insure it when he sent it. So I'm out all this money and I just want to be done with the amp. I have no idea what it's worth now that it's a paper weight so I'm up for offers. Pix are attached. I will also throw in the bass knob I bought new from crossfire for it when I THOUGHT I was going to get a working amp back.

It seems as if the amp was dropped, but the box was in good condition. Soooo...... who knows what happened. I just want to get rid of it now.

that amp is beat to shit !! you might try and ship it to crossfire for repair it seems like no one can work on these. my cf4k has been at a ca members house for a year now whit no luck or hope of it getting fixed glws .

I'm just trying to get what I can out of it. I'm up for some trades too. I pretty much have everything but a sub amp now, lol. Throw me some offers and we'll see what happens.

I honestly wish I knew enough to answer that question. I really don't what to look for. I took pix of everything I could find wrong with the amp internally. Amp guts aren't my strong point unfortunately. It's a great amp, and I regret selling it, but it's costing me to much to send here & there to see if it can be fixed.

Nothing. He never answers his phone, aim, emails, etc. I had to track down his personal infoand call him at home where his dad answered the phone. I wasnt untill then that I was able to get any info. Then it STILL took almost 2 weeks of emails just to get a quote to get it shipped back to me. I had to threaten to call his house again. I'm done with him, and so are MANY other people that I've talked to.

I'm working with someone about a possible fix. I'll let you know what happens in the next day or so. I'm still getting cash offers too. So I'm not 100% on what i'm going to do yet.
