NON rap songs with good LOW bass

A lot of stuff from Metallica's Master of Puppets is pretty good as well Battery is the first that comes to mind
and justice for all is a much better cd.

i just picked up a CD by the keyboard player from Dream Theater, Jordan Rudess, the CD is called a road home. it has some sick low end. the first track is awesome, actually a cover of an old Genesis song. then the last track which is over 22 minutes long is just insane. the whole song has great bass but at about 10:40 into it there is a crazy section of really low loud bass. some might find the music a tad strange but it's really some great stuff. the whole cd is recorded pretty **** well too.

Love this band but GREAT double bass in it. It don't go low low (not sure building new box).

Five finger death punch- Ashes

Posted? But still great.

Pantera- Walk, Cowboys from hell.

Coal Chamber- Sway,Loco (most of that album)

Georges Bizet- Carmen Suite No. 1: Les Toreadors

Skillet- The Last Night

Wagner- Ride of the Valkyries

William Tell Overture

Berlioz- Le ****ation Des Faust, Op. 24

Wagner- Siegfried's Death and Funeral March...if you have seen the movie "Excalibur", you will recognize the music from near the end of the film. It will bring you to tears.

Batman Theme- Written by Danny Elfman, performed by Eric Kunzel/Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. This excerpt is from 1989 and if you aren't ready to fight crime by the end, you have no soul!

Kunzel was (he is deceased) a brilliant and innovative director.

Listen to it on Youtube here...

The Planet Krypton- by John Williams from the original Superman movie soundtrack. Try to find the Kunzel/Cincinnati Pops version on Telarc. It features the 18hz nutbuster near the end.

The Shadow Soundtrack- a terrible movie but, an amazing score by Jerry Goldsmith. Lots of synthisized music augmenting a traditional orchestra. Finding the cd might be tough, I heard it was out of print but, don't know. It also includes a two great versions of the Taylor Dayne song "Original Sin" that was featured over the credits at the end of the film.

Here are some samples from the soundtrack...
