I made a post asking opinions on what to run with my rockford t1500 amp and i got a few responses but it made me curious as to what other sub brands are out there aside from the main name brand ones such as kicker, jl, fosgate, alpine etc. What are some good quality woofers or woofer makers that are not as mainstream that are out on the market now?

take a look at sundown audio, dc audio, american bass, sound quebed, theres lots of companies man. I myself love sundown, but others like some of the othere companies i mentioned, they all make a hell of a product I personally have experience with

sundowns sa-8s and NS v1 18's

Dc audio level 4 15s

american bass' xfl 10

and sound quebed, formally knownas Audioques HDC 3 12.

all were great subs, gl with your search.

You should probably do some searching and reading on this site. This has been answered so many times before, and you will only help yourself by reading other things.

I have a Boston SPG555. Beast sub that is an all around performer. Not many of them around. Not much better for the price

Like @maylar said, delay the turn on to the amplifier only. 3 to 5 seconds should take care of it.
