Hey all so I finally got my setup like I wanted to,

JL500/1v2

JL10w7

Jl Wiring Kit

Ported Box.

It hits awesome and sounds great, but I was listening to it this morning, and you can hear a very small faint noise coming directly from the sub, especailly if you turn the music down low on some country music you hear it the best, doesn't matter if I turn it all the way up or down its still there. The small noise is like a bumblebee almost and it hits beats regularly but sometimes its jsut flat bumblebee noise. Sorry for the bad descroption any help? Thanks

Well I went back to a JL authorized dealer, and they said my voice coil is shot, and they also said my box is only 1.14 cubic feet not 1.5 like the reccomended specs. They did not build the box but rather another local audio store did. SO can a box to small cause the sub to burn up.

Yea sub is def blown, they looked at it and listened to it and said no good, then i went to the next audio place and they said the same thing. My gains and everything were perfect, hell that sub can take 750 watts and I have a 500/1v2. The JL authorized place said my sub was bottoming out and burnt the voice coil, it still plays but sounds bad
