noise with seperate batteries?

ok so i havent got any 1/0 wire yet for my amps but i wanna try the subs out this weekend... so ive got an extra battery that i wanna just put in the trunk and run short 4ga wires to the amps, and leave the deck running off the car battery... will this cause any kind of noise or other problems since im not using a common ground between the deck and amps? bad idea? or should it be ok just for temporary?

Go for it

It wont cause any problems.

Same thing as running dual alts.

this is what im talking about: the amps and extra batt will not be grounded to chassis like the deck is, so im thinking this may cause noise since there is no common ground

There won't be any chance for noise, but you run the serious risk of draining the rear battery (it has no way to charge) and running amps off a battery that is drained and holding a low voltage can actually cook that amp power supply. Wait for the wire.
