Noise comming through speakers when volume down?

I just finished installing a set of boston pro series 6.5s in my 06 tacoma. I hooked them up to a kicker zx350 amp.

I also installed a mono block amp for a single 12. Here is the problem.

I haven't hooked the sub up yet, but the front speakers have static as soon as I turn the stereo on. Even with the volume all the way down. I messed with the gain on the amp and it doesnt fix it.

This is what I am thinking is going on.

I had to get a high output conversion to wire the two amps on the stock stereo. I am wondering if this is causing it. I hooked it up to the stock speaker wires like it says to do.

The only other thing I can think of, is the ground on the kicker amp. I drilled a whole in the floor and screwed it down.

Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks

i always use the rear strut towers for a grounding point that way I know it is for certain grounding directly to frame (unibody). check all your wires make sure nothing is cut or grounding out. reground your amp. make sure you sand your ground down to bare metal

if you have a pioneer head unit do the RCA ground. if you have any questions on how to do any of the above, search.

rear strut tower?

I have an 06 tacoma pickup. I was thinking the main bolts to the seats, but what would be better?

this is a stock stereo head unit. would the rca wires cause it on the LOC?

So, I went down to the local car stereo shop and the guy told me that I need a "line driver" because the volts are too low comming from the speaker lines into the LOC (line out converter)

he said that this would be the only way to get rid of the noise, because I am keeping the stock deck.

dude all you need is a line out conveter it splices into stock wire speakers and converts the signal to a rca then plug the rca's in the converter and hook them into your amp

hey king ranch btw have you decided on speakers oh and yeah you can get a line out converter but the processor would be 100% better
yea gonna go with the polk momo's or mb quarts the higher end

unless u have something that will beat those for around 150-175 bucks if so pm me

I already have the line out converter hooked up. The shop told me that was the problem. would the cleansweap fix this then? or should I just get the audiocontrol line driver? It looks like I could get it off ebay for about 150

oh, the shop said, no matter what line out converter I got, i would have the noise. thats why he suggested the audiocontrol line driver
