I think Rockford has just lost there previous good name. I look at Rockford as the meat n potatoes brand. There not good there not bad but if you just want somethin rather than nothin, it's an option.

I just sold my T1 10 D2 for $100. Another guy with the same woofer with the correct size box was "asking" $350. It sounded ok being in a small sealed enclosure, but it just was't what I was after.

Let's get this thread back on topic - I've read that early 90's good, after that commercialism took over on their speakers and quality took a hit. Amps have been and continue to be solid..I'll add that their amps over the last few years aren't as overrated as they once were, and dollar for dollar there are probably better options now.

i personally don't like RF amps... they are so vastly underrated that you don't even know what your getting... yeah sure someo f you would say more power means more headroom... but say you want a 1000 watt amp and you end up payiong a 1200 watt amp price at RF because all of their 1K amps do at least 1.2K... I'd much rather pay for a 1000 watt amp and get a 1000 watt amp then pay for a 1200 watt amp with a 1000 watt amp sticker on it... but other than that they r solid amps...
