No volume control

Help, installed my component speakers today, I'm using a 5 channel loc to amp then back to components, with stck headunit . I only get 1 level of volume!! I click to 1 and that's it, any idea??

You are using a 5 channel LOC? What is brand and model number? For goid sound you only need two channels going into the LOC. It makes it easier to wire.
