i've had my subs hooked up for about a week or so, hadnt had time to get the door speakers in. but today i started wiring them up. i couldnt find a way to get the speaker wire from the inside of the car into the door through the rubber tube, so i decided i would just tap into the factory wiring.
so here is what i did, please tell me if any of it sounds wrong :
i hooked speaker wire from my wiring harness to the midwoofer slot on my crossover. then ran wire from the amp slot on the cross over all the way back to the amp and hooked it into channels 1 and 2 because i am bridging the amp. i did this for channels 3 and 4 too. the amp powers up fine so i decided to put the pos and neg stock factory wires in the door to the pos and neg on the woofer to see if it worked before i screwed the speakers onto the door.
the only thing i can think of is that i only did one speaker, didnt connect the tweets or the woofer on the other side of the car. does it all have to be hooked up to work right? i tried only one tweet from a crossover and still no sound.
another question... from what i gathered from the manual to my txa-3004 i could run it in 2 channel mode and bridge channels 1&2 and then bridge channels 3&4 using only one set of RCA's... so i am thinking maybe this isnt the case and thats why i get no sound from my woofers or tweets.
