No sound out of Amp

I have a 2002 Lincoln Continental.

Just hooked 10'' cerwin vega stroker and 3000 watt mono amp with extra battery. I have a sony xplod cd/dvd player for the deck. The RCAs are a rca pin style(requiring pin adapter). The rear speakers are factory amped so they act as subs. So that requires 2 Y adapters off the pin adapter for the rear speakers RCAs and Sub RCAs.

Everything is hooked up right( remote, power, ground, RCAs)

I hooked everything up in the trunk and it powers up fine but no sound of sub

Would the amp power up n have no sound if there isnt enough volts in the back battery?

I have used this amp previously and am sure it works. Why no sound output? With all my past systems, never encountered this problem before. The rear speakers sound great with the Y adapter so the sub RCAs have to have signal going through them.

i had the problem with my setup a while back, and it had me going nuts for about a week. My fuse up front was becoming lose. I mean it sounds stupid, but 80 percent of the problems I solve or hear about car audio is always something little and over looked. Also could it be your RCA cables
