no sound from speakers

I just took out my old panasonic headunit and replaced it with a DEH-Mp80. It was working fine and the speakers were working but after I plugged up the remote wire to my headunit the speakers had no sound. So I took out the remote wire and still no sound. Anybody help me? My car is a 1997 Acura 3.0 CL with the Bose System.
