No sound from speakers after playing for short period of time

My current set up is Alpine INE-W960, Alpine PDX-9 5 channel amp, JL Audio Sub, Alpine type R components. Just added a Precision power E.7 Equalizer. The problem I am having is if the system is playing at a certain volume (Loud) it will shut down the sound from the speakers if I turn the receiver off and back on the sound will come back. This problem started after I added the Equalizer to my system any ideas on what might be causing this?

Take out the EQ and see if it fixes it.

Also, what all speakers are effected?
