No sound from my eclipse cd8445

I installed my eclipse head unit today and everything lights up and seems to work, but there is no sound. Any help, please?

Are you using the head units internal amp to run your speakers or are you using the head units pre outs?

What kind of car is this hooked up in? And what type of stock system is there?

It's in a 1999 Dodge Dakota. All I've done to it is change the door speakers

do you have infinity? If hook up amp turn on. Some infinity systems **** to integrate and need to be bypassed, amp might by next to the glove box if i remember right

edit:also check in passenger kick panel i cant remember for sure
