No remote on car radio to connect with amp

i have a fiat doblo cargo from 2015. The stock radio does not have a remote port to connect with my amplifier. Now i'm looking for a alternative way to connect the remote from the amplifier with a 12v wire that cuts the power off when i remove the car key so the amp shuts down aswell. I hope someone here can help me out.

You have the right idea. Look for the wire coming from the ignition switch that powers accessories. Alternatively, look for the power wire behind the radio that is controlled by the ignition switch. Hopefully, you have a voltage tester to see which wires cut off and on with the ignition switch. Or you have a wiring diagram that will identify the wires.

If you're going to be keeping the stock radio I would use a fuse tap in one of the fuses for your kick panel that only works when your key is in the position you choose. I used my power window fuse, but could just as easily use the radio fuse if I wanted it to be enabled in accessory mode too. If you can avoid modifying the car it's always better, so fuses are the logical first place to look for a switched signal.
