Ok just saw you have a boss radio, in the sound settings if there's a way to raise the sub output level max it out, I'm sure you're not getting full output voltage on the pre outs

What's the source, ie radio? Factory or aftermarket? Make and model number, you shouldn't have to max the gain like that

Actually, I think I had the adjustment knob turned down while I was setting gain! Rookie mistake
