I will be getting my Sub soon, but i havent yet read anything about how to cancel the bass from the rest of my speakers.
i have decent speakers, but they cant handle loud bass very well. they have decent mid mass, like quick bass drum hits, but when it comes to held out bass notes they distort. obviously, this is whay im am getting the sub, but i need to know how to cancel out the lower frequencies from the coaxials.
i believe i use a high pass crosover, but i havent been able to find much information on this, and i dont even know where to begin.
i dont want a big crossover box, that is why i didnt get components. there is something small, correct? liie a resistor or something?
i will be installing this all myself, so can anyone explain this to me?
