no EQs on CD players anymore?

I have a 2006 toyota corolla with a faulty factory CD player. I'm want to replace it (I don't need anything expensive) but at the same time, I was thinking I'd like to get at least a 5-band EQ on the face of the CD player. That is, I want to be able to manually turn a knob to cut/boost a frequency, or move a slider up/down to change a frequency. It seems like most EQs are now built in to the interface digitally; you have to press a few buttons to access what band you want to access, etc.

Do they have EQs bands that are physically on the outside face of the CD player? or would I have to buy a separate EQ unit to go along with a new Cd player?

thanks
