No DVD sound...Help

I installed a flip out Sony XAV-7W, along with a Pioneer SDV-P7 DVD player....and after install the TV work fine but Im not getting any sound from DVDs VCDs or CDs, from the pioneer....all the A/V cables are hooked up to the brain and all. And im just stumped. Any help for a electronic noob?

Heres some pics.....and yes i tried all the inputs on the brain...I hooked it up to my TV inside the house and got sound!!!! whats that mean?

dont know what these are. or where they go....they dont have anywhere to go. from DVD player

blue wire? i remember something with that in my old system?

shouldnt you have a/v cables coming out of your input and output?

the output from the dvd player goes into brains input, then the black cord goes into the input sony tv.

your sony is the monitor right? If the video/audio output from the dvd player then it must be input into the monitor (like tv and vcr) If you're adding a tv tuner then you need a way to switch multiple input source. I'm not too famliar with your wiring but that's my best guess. Try it like that first audio/video output from player > input monitor.

you can change sources on the sony (the TV screen) as radio, vid 1,2

I'm not too famliar with your wiring but that's my best guess. Try it like that first audio/video output from player > input monitor.

pioneer is the dvd/cd/vcd player, and Sony is radio/tv
