No bass Pt. Deux...

you want to bridge the channel, use the positive of one channel and the negative of the other.
This makes sense.Im going to spend more time with it tomorrow.I will update then.

Thanks for your help everyone!!

Steve, thanks again for a sweet deal,I really appreciate it!!

heres a good read on SS filters...

http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/153206.html

set your gain at about a quarter for now, you can read on how to set it correctly if you wish.

SS filter, I would set at ~15-20 hz

LP I would set at ~80 hz

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low-pass_filter

bass boost - 00000 DON'T touch it! it kills your subs. bass boost = clip = bad

phase shift, i would have no idea

hope this helps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

will do.

also check your wiring, check it 20 times. i've been doing this for 3 years and i still catch myself wiring out of phase every once and a while.

you can check phase with a 9 volt by connecting the + on the sub to the posotive on the battery and do the same thing with the negative.. look for if the speakers cone move in or out.. then test the other speaker to make sure its not wired backwards

Heres the latest.

I decided to work with only one sub at a time.I checked everything, power wire, rca's,remote and ground.I rewired the one sub according to the Alpine manual.Still nothing!!!

Its weird its like the controls on the amp have no effect on anything.I dont get it.I checked the phase of the one sub I am using and it all looks good.

Any other suggestions??

i think its the deck but not the preouts. Is the amp connected to the subwoofer output? does the subwoofer output have a volume(1-15).Check to see if its connected to the front or rear or sub out.
