hahaha i know and iv been beat a couple times its all good i love comp because when i got the car it was a peice of shit and i rebuilt her and now everyone that was laughing is likin her and for you not wanting it to be a race car it sure seems like your trying to pass it off as one, and mine isnt one either if it was id have a 383, roll cage, fuel cell, stick, posi unit in the rear, and i wouldnt be putting a system in it but its my daily driver.but oh well iv made my point no reason trying to argue anymore with someone that owns a ford there never going to like a chevy and vise versa.

He went with a very high performance cam. I will have to call him and find out which one he went with. I guess everyone seems to think the ls1 is untouchable. Ive seen my budy in his 01 pi with the stock motor, and many mods beat a bolt on ss off the line twice, and the ls1 couldnt catch him. From a roll he still won, but barely. pretty much dead even. Im shooting for about 12.5 or so prior to rebuilding the engine. I will keep vids posted though. Im not saying my vic can beat an ss, but I think it would be an ok race from a roll atleast.

Never said they were untouchable. I'm just saying I know what they are capable of with a good driver behind the wheel and if got to race one with a good driver that I doubt you would win... stock or slighly modded.

Don't take it personally, I'm just stating my opinion.

I see a lot of armchair racing here. Stats and naming parts is only so good. *shrug* At least the guy's doing something slightly out of the norm. It may not be the fastest, and he talks it up, but who doesn't talk up their car they put work into?

Thats it.. Im sick of seeing camaros, and transams, and mustangs.. This car was just ment for the fam, but I ended up going for more speed, and so far its about 3 seconds faster than it was stock on the quarter.. In a sense, your car is a true modern day muscle car. Big family car with a tuned engine. Years from now, assuming performance cars are allowed, I do not doubt seeing CrownVics/Marauders in the same league as Caprices/Impalas, the pony cars, etc.

Yep, the best I could get it to do was a 13.7, and that was with the 100 shot. I dont plan on going back until I get my torque converter, valvebody, dynotune, 373 gears, with a new driveshaft, and a few more things.. That tc, and the gears should help me a ton, as my car lacks getting off the line.

Yes, my goal is mid 12s when im done with my daily. Im sure once that is accomplished, I will want more, but its a start..
