Huge car show last night, and I was able to atleast get 1 race filmed.. my vic vs 5.0 mustang

Pulled about 3-4 cars on him every race. I did let off the gas at the end.

I'm not knocking your car or anything I personally think it's cool... but i personally just love how whenever any1 says anything bad about anything anyones been working on there is always a string of excuses like "I was driving uphill with the windows open when i filmed that." Why can't people just showcase there stuff at it's best so there are no excuses and your performance is relatively indicative of what your car can actually do... but i think your car is cool and you shouldn't respond when people tell you that you aren't running fast enough...

lol my thread was just like this when I had nitrous on my saturn.

Your going to need more than an 100 shot to stay up with any ls1 f-body though.

I have a 125 shot..Only ran 100 on that vid though, and I have already beat a transam.

I could care less weather they think its slow or not, I know what my car is capable of. Its running 13s, soon to be low 12s. Not to bad if you ask me... No excuses..

I used to have a 2002 crown vic with a marauder front end. It was a very fun car, I loved it. I sold it though and now Im looking for a cobra.

I say give it a ton of nitrous and if you blow your engine, swap in a lightning motor and cut the hood. Check this out

Yep, but its an lt1 with custom cut out exhausts, and a cam. He can probably beat me out of the hole, as I havent got my 373 gears yet, and my valvebody, and my torque converter, but I pulled half a car on him from a roll. So yes, I can run with stock ls1s, or an ls1 with minor things. My car is tuned to handle the nitrous.. As for the motor swap, I would have to modify the hood to make the lightning motor fit, but it is a nice engine. For now, Im going to use my stock motor, and just proabably rebuild it later on in the year. I dont want to do any mods to the hood to make the motor fit, which is one reason why i wont go with the 5.4 motor. Im sorry, but the only way you would is if the driver couldnt drive.

Now when you rebuild throw a 5.4 in it. Doesnt have to be the lightning engine. Any 2v 5.4 from a 5-150, etc will bolt right in. There was a guy with a 5.4 in his GT on corral.net all stock engine with a 75 shot on it and he made like 360whp and 470tq. All you need to do is get IM adapters so you can run a 4.6 intake. I'd check out the HPS hardball'r intake btw. My friends got one on his 99 GT and its bulletproof lol.
