I tried to give the car in to another dealership...they said that they did not have room

I spoke to the lease manager of the dealership that I acquired the car from, he is never available when I am (he says he could only do these lease return transactions)

this is horrible

Contact the authorities(non-emergency number) and/or an attorney and go to the dealership with them. I bet he makes time in his busy day for you.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm guessing its Queens Nissan. The car has to be inspected one way or the other. If you waive the pre-inspection(sounds like what he was telling you to do) they still inspect it when returned and will send you a bill later on if there is any damage. However, most dealers waive this if you purchase another car from them, which your salesman sounds like he was hoping for.

They gave you a 10 day grace period, let Nissan's subcontractors inspect it and just turn it in. Even if there is damage, you will know what the cost is right away as they tell you on the spot. They should also give you a date to return it(not sure if Nissan does this). Then take it back to hand in, with the inspection paperwork and they really cant BS you anymore. Call the cops if they do, I've done it already to Queens Nissan, worst dealership in the Tri-state area.

Did this years ago with a sunfire........well actually it was an ex girlfirend of mine and they gave her the run around with purchasing a new car and what not. She ended up leaving the keys on the desk and left with them chasing us out the door. I always wondered if she ever get nailed for that, lol!

Was with her for probably 6 months after that and nothing ever came up though.

When I turned in my truck quite sometime ago, I guess I lucked out considering, lol!

What I did was had the truck professionally detailed which cost me all of 75 bucks and they did an amazing job on it, hated turning it in actually, lol! Well I had so many scratches that when I picked it up from the detail place, I thought they gave me the wrong truck.

Anyway, I didn't get charged a dime! Turned it in with 10 miles to spare, lol!

I called Nissan directly and they called the lease manager (they also got his voicemail). They explained to me that the lease manager was the only one responsible for taking in leased vehicles.

They told him on the voicemail that he needed to make an appointment with me so I could return the car, I also called him and left him a message. Today I did the same.

Still....NO REPLY!

This is getting ridiculous.
