Nissan Bose head unit question please!

Hi so I'm installing my head unit and someone said I had to bypass something and use the bose amplifier. I'm not sure what the heck he was talking about. I just know the ohm rating for the bose speakers is somewhere around 1 or 2, way too low for my HU. Does anyone with the bose system know what that guy was talking about? It seems as if an amplifier is within the double din stock bose system. I'm very confused please help. I'm sitting in my car until further instructions lol

if it uses high level outs, then you should be able to hook it up like any radio and make sure you hook up the remote wire for the amp

On some Nissan Bose systems when you add the aftermarket deck it will play through when you power up the factory amp. If there is no variation in sound and you only get very low volume or very high volume with no in between you can buy a piece (AAMP of Americas SVEN4 or something similar) that allows you to adjust the gain level of each speaker... or you can wire past the Bose amp in the car and take it out of the equation. Many Nissans play just fine just by hooking up the harness--I would try that first then go for other options ie amp bypass or the SVEN4.

What's a high level out? Remote wire for the bose amp? I have no idea where the amp is to be honest.

Also quick q. Will the sq be difference since I have a difference DAC or will it be the same, since it's the same amp?

when i had my pathfinder with a bose,i went to cartoys,they had a metra wiring harness that went from rca's into the factory harness.

so basically,you used the pre outs from the radio instead of speaker leads.
