Looks like it's just glued down in place of a dust cap. Snatch one up from PE and replace the PP with a dust cap. Weigh them to make sure they're the same weight as to not throw off the Mms, and you should be good to go. Should be a simple mod.

im half tempted to do this. i just got my pair opened up and the **** phase plug looking dust cap wont clear my aura tweet rings. it would be a shame to butcher it up though. these mids look so nice its almost hard to know they are used. ill get a few pics up after. wouldnt you want a slightly lighter dustcap replacement to compensate for the glue used to reinstall ? or is that being ANAL?

What's the resistance of those? I'm wondering if I could use one to replace the driver in my wifes Element's factory subwoofer....depth would be o.k.....hmmmm...

SF7 midwoofer is a TRUE 4ohm midwoofer. 60 - 4kHz with 50watts rms.

I got mine too. They're bigger than I thought they would be too.
