Next Upgrade?

I have $250-$300 in my car audio fund for a new piece of something. What should I get?

Currently:

JVC KD-G300 + Alphasonik PEQ 80

PPI PCX 280 (has Static!) + Rainbow Soundlines

PA OV2 1200 + 2x IA 187 12s

Need:

HU - only preouts used, so nice EQ, voltage, & crossover settings

Comp Amp - Current amp is underrated but has static.

Sub amp - Nice but NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH, been getting gain happy. =\

Currently the HU and both amps could be replaced. Which do you sugguest I do first? I've looked at the Viper 1200.1 and after having a shot at a Crossfire VR, I think I can do better with my money. I hate refurbs.

I'm currently considering the sub amp. The static out of the comp amp isn't really that annoying anymore, and the HU is literally nothing but a CD player with a volume knob to me.

Finding 1200 watts at .5,2,or 8 ohms is killer.

PG tantrum 1200.1. should be able to find for about $300

your sig says a 1001bd but that does not look like one?? the 1001bd would make a nice choice as well.

Ok, I seem to have misled everyone.

I AM CHEAP.

I want to get 2 piece of equipment with $300. Yes, a PG Tantrum would be great. So would a Crossfire. Hell, if that Viper wasn't a refurb (nothing but bad experience) it'd be perfect. However, I don't want to spend $300 on a single amp because then I have nothing left for my other two options.

it looks like a punch series amp to me. my old 1001bd was silver. anyways a 1001bd would be a nice choice.
