If you can still find these new, look for the Alpine MRP-M2000 in addition to putting those Type Rs in a ported enclosure. She will stop thinking about upgrading subs after those upgrades.
I haven't seen any of these for sale new, but there is a used one for sure right now for 400, 1000 watts rms to each R sounds like plenty for sure. If she'd blow em, it'd be a good reason to get new subs any ways haha.
