Looks like his name is DDcavalier on some other forums, do some google searches there is a bunch of results under 'BreakDaLaw' so some searching and you can probably get some info. Looks like bjfish built him a box which may or may not help you.
PS: Why would you send him the money for the amp AND the money to get it fixed? Dunno just would not sit right with me for some reason.

Those are AOL mail server mail record servers (MX) nothing to do with his actual IP. You could get it through the whos online page if you checked it while he was logged in but I don't see it helping much in the long run.

Unfortuneately the box was messed up when it came in, I knew it wasn't going to be able to ship back out in that box, so I threw it out... There was no other contact information given to me by the sender except his email address which has already been posted here. Really sucks that people don't do right on these online transactions, but hell, look at eBay, how many times has someone gotten burned on there.... Just sucks, wish there was something more I could do.
