next step? SCAMMED

well i looked up his adress/phone number on online white pages... phone number is disconnected. Paypal would not give me any personal information or even his ebay acount name. Is there anyway to confirm this guy's adress? Like a public database or somethin?

its not ****ing funny. I got scammed and you come in here posting about somethin completely off topic that happened a month ago.

good luck. I just went thru something similar with a seller from here. Google his user name, email on google. I found a lot of info doing some research. Id help you, but i gotta run now.

Looks like his name is DDcavalier on some other forums, do some google searches there is a bunch of results under 'BreakDaLaw' so some searching and you can probably get some info. Looks like bjfish built him a box which may or may not help you.

PS: Why would you send him the money for the amp AND the money to get it fixed? Dunno just would not sit right with me for some reason.

PSS: If you quit being such a whiny bitch more people would be interested in helping you, even more so if you posted in the right section

Sorry to hear about your loss....on a side note the screen name "break da law" should have been a STEER CLEAR warning. Never send a full payment for a very questionable transaction with too many variables. Driving the 400 miles roundtrip might cause you a tank of gas but the face to face time might be worth it. Just take a long your paperwork trail with you and call the local PD when you arrive at the residence to file a police report. Goodluck

Being an ethug isn't going to get you money back, so chill the fuck out home boy.
Find out where he lives and call his local pd, get a mod to do an ip check on his sn....

You can file a report with your local police station also. They will get in contact with his local pd and they follow up on the report. They will goto his house, work, etc.. Keep copies of your transactions, emails, pm's and any conversations you had with him pertaining to the sale. You can also file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center. http://www.ic3.gov/

Scammers ****, make sure you press charges and he gets what he deserves.

too bad there isnt a "A Team" type of thing that ppl could turn to for help. Like that thread about the tire scammer. A bunch of ppl from many sites banning together to catch a scammer.

Like a donation thing, or 10% of monies recorvered for the scammers info.

but call the police and file. and the ic3 thing is a good thing to do.
