if you only want to be louder on the meter for that show, then get more power. SA's will burp on a LOT more then what you have now. Also consider a more SPL friendly box tuned a little higher and with more port area.

Sorry, only been bumpin' for about a 2 months, don't know what "burp" means, hit the hardest? What would be a more SPL friendly box, small? right now I have them in a big ol' 4.2 cube box tuned at 35, dat 6 inch port.

Edit: googled burp, Well, I can burp them at 3k, sure, But I also want to use it for daily play time, how much can I push them for daily drive.

thats my fat ***. I had 2 xfl 12s in a trunk wall tuned to 36 hz. needed more port. amp was a db drive pd2000.1 that i miss dearly.

Trunk wall? What? I r newb, so AB Xfls run $190 each on Ebay ? Sound about right? Can these handle more then the 1000rms, or stick with a solid 1000rms ?

If they are only $180 each I'll buy two right now. Then buy a nicer amp, I got $850 audio money in my pocket right now to play with.

Well then AB can't happen, I'm in the middle of po-dunk Montana, highest end audio they sell here is Kicker CVRs, mkayy?

If I push my two Sa-12s with more then 600 RMS will I notice a major difference? I don't feel like I am even pushing them to the limits, maybe I should peak those out and see what they can do? How much power can you throw at SA-12 D4s?

do not buy from ebay they arent authorized for sales and the warrenty wont be in good standing.

trunk wall is a wall at the trunk. usually a pai of subs sealed off from the rest of the trunk.

they will do 2k+ each easily.

Stretch your budget a tad and get two hdc3 12's.

Lol... Work on your electrical before upgrading to the 2k plus range. There is no need to buy off ebay and I expect that you are too inexperienced to push a pair of subs past their rated power. Good luck with your "next level" build.
