newbi needs help !!

hey wats up? im kinda new at this and i need some advice, my amp keeps cutting out on a hard beat i just need to know where to start at....... i have a Pioneer gm5100 witch is bridge and bestbuy special dual subs, lol with a panisonic headunit, stinger wiring, im open to any suggestions, thanks

does ur amp go into protect mode meaning the little led light on the amp does it flash red when that happens?

Is your gain and bass boost all the way up? It sounds like you may be trying to pull more juice than you actually have, or you're impedance is too low for that amp. What ohm load are your subs wired to?

theres no red light for protection mood, gain bout 3/4, subs are wired to 4 ohms

I think the place to start is to find out what realistic ratings your subs can do and set the gains on your amp to the correct setting. If you have no clue where to start the read the Gain setting tutorial posted here

At least that will give you an understanding of how the crossovers and gain are set.

check your amp ground. Common cause of cutting out.

light dimming a little, regrounded my amp, set the gain bout a quarter which it says " normal "....still cuts out
