I would appreciate any and all advice in this matter!
Everything is currently stock and I plan on upgrading real soon. I would like something that can handle mid and highs really well; not a big fan of bass, but I do like some. I mainly listen to rock and its subgenres, mainly punk and metal. I have a pair of components by polk audio in another car and I am pretty happy about those. My buddy said he can hook me up with stuff "way better" than polk; but I think he's more into the brands like eclipse and alpine cause of their name. I have a pair of 10" or 12" kickers in my other car that I was thinking about porting over, but I think that's toooooo much for my accord. So, I what I think I'm looking for is:
component system in the front, single din stereo that has aux input (location isn't too much of a concern), rear speakers (how important is the rear audio when listening from drivers seat?), maybe an amp (I do have one in the pathfinder, 4 channel, so maybe I could just use that). and maybe subs. I was reading about capacitors, would I need one? Or would upgrading my: alternator, ground wire, and/or battery be better? So, basically I need help with everything lol. I don't plan on installing myself either; currently looking for some custom car audio places.
Thank you very much for reading.
