look into FI BL or BTL. they are a hell of a lot better then kickers.

get the kicker idea out of your head, i was the same way when i joined.

you can get louder and sound better for less than a 15L7 (which also uses a good amount of space)

maybe an AudioQue HDC 15 in about 4cuft ported with something like the AQ1200d or a hifonics 1600?

looking at ~$600 total if you build and install yourself

will hit hard and still sound good

just use the search button for all your wattage/amp questions.

and if you buy online. while saving money is always good try and buy from authorized dealers. when shit doesnt work for some reason after you buy it you need some kind of warranty or you are shit outta luck

Mono amps are usually the best for your sub. and only look at rms ratings when looking at amps, not peak. they are all that matter

1) Mono channel amp, aka class D, just trust me

2) for a daily setup and not going too crazy, i would gear toward the 1200-2200 range

3) Brands: in order of my wants in terms of subs in the suggested range
