How does a box cubic feet and tuned hertz affect the tuning of an amp.. ex. if i have a box that is 2.96 cu ft tuned to 34 flat hz with a alpine type r 15" sub would i tune my amp to that?

a more basic question would be how do i tune my amp if i have a specially designed box like the ex. above and sub size?
