Newb ? about REM wire

Remote wire is used for turning on your external amplifier on with the Headunit. If your using 1-2 amplifiers this will work just fine. If later on you add additional amps your going to want to upgrade with a larger wire to a different source either an accessory input or a nother 12v line that is you can turn off and on with a switch.

sorry, i didn't want to say go out and buy a $52 set of snap-on crimpers like i got

i use mine everyday, cant have cheap tools that break, i would rather not, i used to use the channellock crimpers and also have a set of kleins journymen, i recommend the channellocks over the kleins, even though they are channellocks are cheaper priced

also use mine almost everyday...many times a day and i have had them for probably 5 years...no problems....inexpensive is not always cheap

the channellocks were $20 the kleins are $32

crimpers get dull eventually the better they are the less you have to sharpen them

personally i know i can strip and crimp 0gauge no problem with these

i really hope you mean heat shrink tubing
shrink wrap, we use that at work on our L-wrap machine. its the same exact thing as saran wrap just goes through a heat and shrinks. ill use that next time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

What? Wouldn't you just have your remote wire trigger a relay to turn on multiple amps and processors and stuff? Why would you want to put a manual switch in when the remote can do it for you?
