Wordplay is verbal exchange. I know rappers beside mainstream, but im not into hip hop underground stuff. Only one I really listen to on a basis is Sage Francis. You stated that Jeezy and Joc **** compared to those rappers. The lyrics might mean something to you, but not to people who aren't into it. Just another rap song, everyone has their own opinion.
If those rappers were so hardcore underground, why did they try and peep their head in to being mainstream? To get noticed? Make some money? Just a thought.

i always thought wordplay was the way a rapper "flipped words" in a bar relating to rhyme and reason. just my guess.
