that'll get you started....I mean I listen to shit that sounds good with bass too...because most of these songs don't...just giving you some different options to broaden your horizons within the rap genre...because if you like Jeezy and think he's good...I feel sorry for you...

I think its dumb that just because someone likes a Young Jeezy or Joc cd, some mainstream rapper, that they obivsouly have no knowledge about any other rappers.

Papoose raps in many songs with a lot of southern rappers for one thing. Joe Budden only hit was a song about pump pump pump it up. Jay Z calls himself best rapper alive, but he has retired and came back about 5 times already. Big pun rapped about being a playa and how he just cruch a lot.

Stay on topic, nobody cares about how many rappers you know that you think are so much better, because they probally aren't. Look now I've gotten off topic.

I dled the rest of the Yung Joc cd, and its pretty good. Althought ain't got my sub in right now to play it and see how it does.

We know jeezy, or jock, dnt have lyrics like nas, or ect.. But who cares, these are totaly different sytles of music. If you dont like it, then dont listen to it. Back to the subject, I like the cd..

Yup, two garbage rappers... People only like them because they got nice beats on their albums even tho the lyrics are wack.
that's your own ignorant biased opinion. people dont like jeezy cuz they think hip hop is all about complex vocabulary words and squeezing hundreds of words in a bar.. if you listened to his first album come shop with me youd see a totally different side of jeezy. his flow and delivery is very different from thug motoivation. in fact, he displays more lyrical talent than 80% of mainstream rappers out ther today in it. he redeemed himself to all the big-named artists and rappers out there with that album, jeezy doesnt have to sticc to any style.. he has a TON OF RESPECT from fans and ESPECIALLY OTHER RAPPERS. his gimmick is that he doesnt want to be portrayed as a rapper.. so he keeps his style simple but at the same time, its ORIGINAL and FRESH. the streets feel jeezy cuz they can relate to him.. he doesnt beat around the bush and gets str8 to the point but still has punchlines. and the streets JUST dont listen to lyricists these days that just 'display style', it'd rather listen to someone talk about what goes on in the streets that a lot of people can't talk about. listening to jeezy is equivalent to listening to a modern-day mobster biographical documentary.. on top of that, the beats in his thug motivation 101 album were off the hook.. if you deny that, you have a very unique taste in music.

young jeezy - thug ya

^ there's a good song from his come shop with me album... with a totally different sound to him.

well all I said is that their lyrics are wack and people like them for their beats. If you can prove to me that their lyrics are good then I'd believe it... It's not like I didn't give the CD's a chance, I've downloaded both of their CD's. Nothing jumps out at me lyrically that can stay in my head off of their CD's...

And the other thing is, I said people just like them for their beats.... I agree the beats are hot, I just usually expect some serious lyrics to back up the beats.

I think 17. A couple of them aren't songs just skits with people talking.
