I was thinking of buying a bottle of champagne for new years. What is a good bottle that is around $50. I may drink more regualar alcohol later, but I want to try some good champagne.

I dont think you will get a good bottle for $50. Ask your local liquor store they are usually a lot of help.

My favorite cheap champagne is ballatore, it is just that cheap but has a pretty good flavor if you ask me. Plus its like 7$ a bottle so you could get like 7 bottles lol.

If you like wine on the sweeter side, such as reislings, Mondoro Asti is a good one. It has a lot of grape flavor to it and it's around $15/bottle.
