New XXX

well this isnt one of those thread asking when its going to come out like everyone is thinking. This thread is for everyone who wants to hear it and know how much it costs and all that.I heard the new XXX today this thing is a monster very very loud eveyrthing in the car was shaking to shit, there will be a video up and pics up in the next couple weeks. Superior Sound has 4 of these babys and they were the first ones to recieve them. I was told it needs about 1200rms to get going, but will take anyhting your throw at it. They feed it 1000rms open air for 2 hours full clipped signal eveyrhting all the way up. The amp was hotter the voice coil, the voice coil was still cool enough to touch. Oh yeah it cost 850 retail for a 12 but have no idea how much it costs direct.

Subs **** nice sq was prolly the best ive heard(right up there with the new mag and w6v2) while being pushed to the max. In the car it was being fed 2400rms or so. I think im in love with this sub

The New XXX has the Specs to demolish the W7, but I wont say it will because I havent heard the New XXX, but on paper it Pwns it (this is from a former 13 W7 owner)

couldnt have said it better myself and not just the ability, it does. destroyed teh w7 in every aspect

btw was it ported or sealed in car?

it was ported in about 3.2 gross i beleave, he told me it needs 1.7-2.5cubes before displacement, the **** is .32 of a cube the **** thing is just huge
