New XXX box 56k No

Hi so this is my new box i have made to house 1 x 15 inch xxx

It was ment to look like this Sub on the front port at the back

So off i went to go get the mdf :cheese:. So got the mdf and start to work on the box.

But there was a big problem the box was realy hard to fit in the boot and when i did get it to fit it was to big to fit a pushchair in so it had to go.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

So now what to do with this box :whatever: hmmm ok ill make a new box out of it :beam:.

So i go with this box

As you can see the port is now the same side as the sub and there is now a 2 inch lip to stop the sub hitting the back seat's.

So anyway on with the box

Was it as easy as i would have liked no would i do it againe no :shake:.

But the box is now in and fitted

And that's about it for now.

The Hifonics you see in the pic

600wrms but i dont turn the head unit up past 30 it will go up to lvl 50

Horrible idea to have the port 180degrees from woofer. Also, WAY too small port area. For the first box.

Second one looks much better.

The first box the port was going to be 3 inch wide i used that back to show where the port was going to be.

It sound's realy nice and it's loud and lot's of wobble to i have just brought a

Hifonics Zeus ZX7500 to try on the sub.

I do have a orion 2500D but i love the class A/B sound better 600wrms from the A/B sound's just as loud as the orion but i know its just a trick of the ear becouse its much more SQ

At what ohm is this 600 watts being pushed??

Also.... maybe it's more "SQ" because it's pounding.... less due to the lower power??? So technically.... you'r not really comprehending whats going on.
